Siddharth’s practice focuses on personalized estate planning for individuals, couples and families. He has a broad range of experience including wills, revocable living trusts, family business entity planning, co-tenancy arrangements and irrevocable trusts including life insurance trusts, dynasty trusts, personal residence trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, lead and charitable remainder trusts.

Siddharth began his higher education by earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University. Thereafter, he received a M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and International Business from Rollins College in Florida. Siddharth then went on to the Chicago-Kent School of Law earning not only his Juris Doctor but also a Special Certificate in International Law. Next knowing that there are only two guarantees in life – death and taxes, Siddharth went on to receive his Master’s in Tax Law from the University of San Diego top ten LL.M. program.

Siddharth’s professional career began by working for Deloitte Tax in Silicon Valley California structuring multinational corporations to obtain the highest level of tax reduction and asset protection available under the law. Wanting a more meaningful professional experience Siddharth moved into private practice and estate planning in 2004. After discovering how “traditional” attorneys function, Siddharth decided that he could do things better – the result is Chhokar Law Group, P.C. As an attorney he protects high net worth individuals and families through the design of sophisticated plans to protect their assets and pass along the maximum wealth to successive generations. Siddharth applies those same strategies to people of all financial backgrounds, knowing that everyone should have the same access to experienced guidance in order to protect for their families and wealth.

Siddharth is a member of the California State Bar Association, the California Bar Trust and Estates Section, the California Bar Tax Section, and Wealth Counsel.




Kristopher Williams, J.D., is an attorney practicing exclusively in the area of estate planning. Kris is a native of Southern California as is admitted to practice law in all courts of the State of California.

Kris began his law career as a student-intern at Heiting & Irwin, in Riverside, CA. He later joined that firm as an attorney, handling his own caseload. While in Riverside, he volunteered at the Public Service Law Corporation, providing Pro Bono assistance to low-income individuals and families. Kris also enjoys helping the next generation of lawyers. In his free time, Kris volunteered as an attorney-coach for a local high school’s mock-trial team.

At the Chhokar Law Group, Kris focuses his practice on estate planning for individuals, families and business owners.

Kristopher earned his undergraduate degree from California State University of San Bernardino and attended law school with a scholarship from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, CA. He was quickly invited to be a member of the Dean’s Circle and earned demarcation as an honors student. After his first year at WSU, Kris attended New England School of Law’s study abroad program in Ireland at the Irish Center for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where he studied Civil Juries and International Humanitarian Law.

Away from practicing law, Kris competes in adult-league soccer and enjoys an active lifestyle, taking advantage of local hiking trails, golf courses, and beaches.



As an accomplished estate planning attorney, Mike focuses his practice on all aspect of estate planning from basic estate plans (Trust, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives) to advanced estate planning and business transactions, income tax planning, probate, trust administration, charitable trusts and charitable planning.  Mike is well versed in the more sophisticated techniques such as Dynasty Trusts and Asset Protection vehicles. Mike is also an in-demand lecturer for CPAs, attorneys and financial advisors.

Mike started his law career as a litigator, handling complex, multi-party cases from complaint through trial in areas such as wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and construction, as well as business and breach-of-contract matters.  Mike has represented companies such as Wal-Mart, Target and Costco, and performed work for insurance companies such as State Farm, Mercury and Federated Mutual.  This background and unique perspective enables him to effectively analyze and prepare potential Asset Protection strategies for his clients.

Mike earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis.  He attended law school while under scholarship at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was active in the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and La Raza Law Students Association.  During law school, he attended the Tulane Law School’s study abroad program in Rhodes, Greece, where he studied under their maritime law program.  Mike is from Southern California and is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California, as well as the Southern and Central Federal District courts.

Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and coaches several sports, including baseball, football and soccer.  Mike is also currently the president of Del Mar Little League and an avid supporter of the San Diego Gulls Hockey Club.



Kimberley Deede is a probate and estate litigator, representing trustees, executors, professional fiduciaries, beneficiaries and heirs in a range of trust, estate and financial elder abuse disputes. Kimberley’s practice is focused on safeguarding and implementing the true intent underlying a decedent’s estate plans. Kimberley utilizes prelitigation and litigation skills to protect a will or trust from attack; conversely, when appropriate she challenges invalid trusts or amendments. Kimberley implements strategies and legal tactics to protect estate assets from waste or misuse while expediting distribution to the proper recipients.

Kimberley protects those who have assumed responsibility for estate or trust administration, such as successor trustees or executors, from unjust accusations or interreference with trust administration. When those in control of an estate have abused their authority, Kimberley represents beneficiaries and heirs to enforce and protect their rights. Kimberley also prosecutes actions involving abuse of power of attorney or health care directives and represents individuals in contested conservatorship proceedings.

Kimberley approaches every client with a focus on efficient advocacy. She conducts a thorough analysis of all factors surrounding the dispute and develops a course of action unique to each individual’s ultimate goals.

In uncontested matters, Kimberley also assists those in need of representation in probate administration to help navigate the often-daunting tasks of marshalling a decedent’s assets and meeting all statutory requirements to prepare for final distribution.

Kimberley was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and earned undergraduate degree in International Business from Western Washington University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Kimberley gained invaluable experience interning for Honorable Judge Richard E.L. Strauss of the San Diego Superior Court and was an active board member of Student Consumer Attorneys, Law Students for Community Service, and the Woman’s Law Caucus.

Kimberley is a two-time national amateur boxing champion and continues to volunteer to teach boxing while helping her team train for professional fights. She enjoys exploring the up and coming restaurants of San Diego and is an avid supporter of all forms of performing arts.



Hilary is a Paralegal graduate of the University of San Diego.  Prior to becoming a paralegal, Hilary attended San Diego State University and graduated with a B. A. in Philosophy.

As for her Paralegal role with Chhokar Law Group, Hillary assists the team in all aspects of clients’ estate planning, including pre-engagement organization, execution of plans and funding verifications.  As the Client Services Director, she is available to assist clients with any questions or concerns.

When she isn’t working, Hilary is off enjoying one of San Diego’s finest and most plentiful assets, the beach.



Daniella is a Paralegal graduate of the University of San Diego. Prior to graduating from the Paralegal Program, Daniella attended the University of California, San Diego, graduating with a B.S. in Management Science and a minor in Mathematics. 

Daniella’s legal career began in criminal law, interning at the Public Defender’s Office. She then joined the Chhokar Law Group, P.C., where she assists the team with all aspects of estate planning and asset protection.

When she isn’t in the office, Daniella pursues music and is a concert cellist.
