Stevani received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. Before transitioning to the legal field, she attended UC Irvine as an English major, publishing seven (7) web articles through Incite Magazine with the hope of attending medical school. However, during her time at UC Irvine, Stevani discovered her passion for law and criminology, and she decided to transition her educational focus from medicine to law. 

Prior to Chhokar Law Group, Stevani worked as an intern for the California Innocence Project, a non-profit organization that helps exonerate wrongfully convicted inmates. She then joined a family law firm in San Diego County as a legal assistant, where she further developed her legal skills in working on a wide range of family disputes, ranging from dissolutions to domestic violence. 

Undecided whether she wanted to pursue a law degree, Stevani took a leap and applied for the University of San Diego Paralegal program. During this time, she worked full-time while attending a part-time evening program to obtain her paralegal certification. Stevani completed her program in August 2024 and is now a certified paralegal at Chhokar Law Group, P.C.

In her spare time, Stevani enjoys being with her loved ones, traveling, and taking road trips with her husband and their Goldendoodle to explore national parks and hiking trails across Northern and Southern California. She also enjoys indulging in true crime documentaries, thriller shows, and a variety of books, ranging from true crime to fantasy.
