Upon receiving her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Mara went on to complete an M.A. degree in Peace & Justice at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego. Prior to joining Chhokar Law Group as a legal assistant, Mara gained a diversity of experience working as a co-facilitator at a domestic violence rehabilitation program, a client services specialist at a financial consulting firm, an intake specialist at New Zealand’s leading mental health organization, and more. 

Mara’s diversified skill set, along with her motivated drive for success, makes her an invaluable asset to the firm. Her ability to problem-solve and multi-task ensures that our office runs smoothly and efficiently so that our lawyers and paralegals can focus their efforts on our clients and their cases. 

In her spare time, Mara enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, adventuring with her beloved rescue dog, and spending time with her loved ones.
