Kristen Friedman is a seasoned trial attorney with hundreds of hours of courtroom experience, which she uses to represent beneficiaries, fiduciaries, conservators, charities, and other interested parties in all stages of probate litigation. Kristen uses her background in high-stakes litigation and investigation to thoroughly vet her clients’ cases and ensure that no stone remains unturned.

She received a Ph.D. in United States History from Harvard before receiving her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2017. Prior to switching over to Estate Litigation, she worked in private practice in criminal defense between 2018 and 2023 and served as a legal volunteer for various innocence projects (California Innocence Project, New England Innocence Project, and Boston College Law School Innocence Project). She interned at the Public Defender’s Office for three years and volunteered at the Clean Slate Expungement Clinic and at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego where she received an award for contributing more than 50 hours of pro bono service. She is currently a member of the Criminal Defense Bar Association and is in the process of joining the Bench-Bar Committee Probate Section.
